A new year brings new opportunities for travel advisors, and Host Agency Reviews (HAR) will be kicking off 2027 with five days dedicated to helping them make the most of those opportunities.

Host Week 2027 returns January 25–29, bringing together travel advisors, host agencies, consortia, and industry experts for a free, fully virtual event packed with education, candid conversations, business-building resources, and a healthy dose of fun.

Host Week offers something for advisors at every stage of their careers. Whether they're researching their first host agency, considering a change, or looking for fresh ideas to grow an established business, attendees can find practical information, expert guidance, and connections to help them move forward with confidence.

"There's no one-size-fits-all formula for building a successful travel business, and that's one of the things we love about this industry," said Steph Lee, Founder of Host Agency Reviews. "Host Week gives advisors a chance to explore their options, ask questions, learn from each other, and figure out what makes sense for their own business. And because it's free and virtual, everyone gets a seat at the table."

Five Days to Learn, Connect, and Celebrate

Host Week combines practical business education with an inside look at the host agencies, consortia, and industry organizations supporting today's travel advisors.

Here's what attendees can look forward to:

  • Daily Keynotes: Industry experts and thought leaders tackle timely topics, emerging trends, and the opportunities and challenges facing travel advisors in 2027, including HAR's signature State of the Host Agency Address.
  • Meet the Hosts: Presented in partnership with the American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA), these candid interviews give advisors an opportunity to hear directly from host agencies about their programs, technology, culture, and support. It's a valuable research shortcut for anyone evaluating a new host or reassessing their current relationship.
  • Meet the Consortia: Conversations with consortium leaders offer a closer look at the resources, benefits, and opportunities available to advisors through these industry networks.
  • EduSpots: Practical, advisor-focused educational sessions cover the day-to-day realities of running a travel business, from marketing and sales to operations, technology, and profitability.
  • CoffeeSpots: Informal sponsor sessions offering specialized learning, industry connections, and opportunities for live attendees to win coffee gift cards.
  • Luminary Awards: HAR celebrates outstanding host agencies and the people and organizations helping the travel advisor community thrive.

Host Week will also feature giveaways, special offers, and opportunities to connect with fellow travel professionals throughout the week.

"One of the things we love most about Host Week is that it meets advisors wherever they are in their business," said Shayna Zand, Managing Director of Host Agency Reviews. "Some are just getting started and trying to figure out their next step. Others have been in the industry for years and are looking for ways to work smarter, grow their income, or find a better fit for their business. Host Week brings those conversations and resources together in one place, and makes them accessible to everyone."

More Than a Host Agency Search

While Host Week has become a valuable resource for advisors comparing host agencies, its reach extends well beyond those actively looking for a new partnership.

For established advisors, it's an opportunity to step away from the daily demands of client bookings and focus on their own business. For newer advisors, it's a chance to learn directly from experienced professionals and gain a clearer understanding of the industry they're entering.

And for everyone, it's a reminder that building a successful travel business doesn't have to be a solo endeavor.
