What are your travel specialties or areas of expertise?
My main area of expertise is designing multigenerational trips, creating experiences where every member of the family, from young children to grandparents, can truly enjoy the journey together.
I specialize in carefully selecting accommodations that are comfortable, well-located, and suitable for families, as well as curating activities designed for kids and teenagers, always balancing fun, learning, and meaningful experiences.
Additionally, I have experience coordinating trusted babysitting services, which allows parents to enjoy some moments on their own while knowing their children are in safe and caring hands.
My approach is to make travel feel effortless for families, ensuring that each detail is thoughtfully planned so that everyone can connect, relax, and create lasting memories together.
What inspired you to become a travel advisor?
What inspired me to become a travel advisor was a very personal feeling, the need to show the world the real Colombia.
For many years, I saw how my country was often misunderstood or seen through very limited and outdated perceptions. But I have always known a completely different Colombia, one full of warmth, culture, breathtaking landscapes, and the most incredible people.
That contrast became my motivation. I wanted travelers not only to visit Colombia, but to truly connect with it, to experience its authenticity, its stories, and its beauty in a meaningful way.
For me, this is more than planning trips. It is about opening perspectives, creating genuine connections, and sharing a country that I deeply believe in and feel proud to represent.
What are your most popular travel destinations among clients?
Among families of all ages, two of the most popular destinations are the Coffee Region and Tayrona with the Caribbean coast, each offering a very different and enriching experience.
The Coffee Region is especially loved for its calm pace and variety of family-friendly activities. Beyond visiting coffee farms, families can explore colorful flower farms, enjoy nature parks, discover cacao farms, and take part in hands-on farmer experiences. It is a place where travelers can connect closely with local communities, learn directly from farmers, and enjoy meaningful, authentic moments in a safe and beautiful setting.
Tayrona and the Caribbean coast are perfect for families looking for a mix of adventure and relaxation. In addition to its stunning beaches, families can visit indigenous communities to learn about their traditions, explore hidden waterfalls, and enjoy fun activities like river tubing. It offers a more dynamic experience while still allowing time to unwind and connect with nature.
What’s your most valuable tip for family travel planning?
Don’t try to do too much… design the trip around how the family feels, not just what they want to see.
When planning family travel, especially with little ones, the key is not the number of places visited, but how comfortable and enjoyable each moment feels. Leaving space in the itinerary, choosing well-located accommodations, and balancing activities with downtime makes a meaningful difference.
It is often seen that when the pace is right, families connect more, children engage more deeply with the experience, and parents can truly relax instead of feeling like they are managing logistics.
In the end, the most memorable journeys are not the busiest ones, but those where everyone feels present, cared for, and genuinely enjoying the time together.
