Florida’s Paradise Coast is a natural and cultural gem tucked away in Southwest Florida, where the sparkling Gulf meets white-sand beaches, wild islands and downtowns filled with artful treasures, culinary delights and many more discoveries.

In 1992, Collier County established the Tourist Development Council and expanded the county’s formal tourism marketing structure that now includes the Naples, Marco Island, Everglades CVB—the official tourism marketing organization for Collier County, Florida, promoting the region known as Florida’s Paradise Coast.

What unique services or benefits does your business offer to families?

In addition to destination marketing, the CVB offers free assistance to meeting and event planners as well as Travel Advisors by helping them find venues, coordinate hotel accommodations, and organize group activities. The bureau also provides visitor resources such as travel guides and trip-planning tools, conducts tourism research and economic impact studies, and works closely with local hotels, attractions, and businesses to strengthen the region’s tourism economy. Through marketing, partnerships, and sustainable tourism initiatives, the CVB plays a key role in attracting visitors while helping preserve the natural beauty of the Paradise Coast.

In what ways does your business work together with the family travel industry?

The bureau collaborates with travel advisors by providing destination information, itineraries, and updates about family-friendly hotels, attractions, and activities in Naples and Marco Island. It also hosts familiarization (FAM) trips and educational opportunities so advisors can experience the destination firsthand and better recommend it to their clients.

What feature of your business do you believe makes you uniquely valuable to family travel?

Located in Collier County, the destination offers families easy access to white-sand beaches in Naples and Marco Island while also providing opportunities to explore wildlife and ecosystems in nearby areas such as Everglades National Park. This unique combination allows families to enjoy a wide range of activities—such as beach relaxation, eco-tours, kayaking, wildlife viewing, and cultural attractions—all within a single destination.

What else do you want to make sure people know about you?

The destination continues to grow with exciting new accommodations and resort developments that appeal to families, luxury travelers, and multigenerational groups visiting Collier County. Recently, the region welcomed the new Naples Beach Club, A Four Seasons Resort, a luxury beachfront resort featuring more than 200 guest rooms and suites, multiple restaurants, a large spa, and family-focused amenities such as a kids club and beachfront activities.

In addition, the newly opened Great Wolf Lodge Naples brings a major family-friendly attraction to the area with a massive indoor water park, adventure park, and entertainment experiences designed for children and families.

The destination also continues to expand sports tourism through the Paradise Coast Sports Complex. The complex hosts large youth and amateur sporting tournaments throughout the year, bringing teams and families from across the country.
