Sara Morgan is a travel advisor with a lifelong love for discovering new place, and a background in psychology, which means she’s exceptionally good at understanding what people actually want out of a vacation.
Under the banner of Timeless Adventures by Sara, she asks the right questions, notices the details others miss, and designs experiences that actually fit travelers’ needs—not a generic “one-size-fits-all” trip.
What inspired you to become a travel advisor?
As a mom of two, I know firsthand that travel often includes grandparents, friends, and a whole mix of personalities. We rarely travel alone — and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. There’s something special about planning a trip where everyone has something to look forward to. When planning our next trip, my kids often ask "who's coming with us?"
Before I worked in travel, I was a marriage and family therapist. That experience still shapes how I plan today. I know how to ask thoughtful questions, listen for what’s not being said, and understand the different dynamics at play — especially when multiple generations are involved.
Travel planning isn’t just about picking a destination. It’s about creating an experience that works for everyone at the table. And I genuinely love bringing those pieces together.
What’s your most valuable family travel tip or trick?
Involve the children in the travel planning process! If everyone can’t be on a planning call (which is often the case with younger children), I make a point to ask thoughtful, specific questions about each traveler. What are the kids into right now? Are they adventurous eaters? Do they love animals, sports, history, the pool/waterpark? Have they flown before? Those details matter.
My goal is to find something in the itinerary that feels personal for every single person on the trip — not just the adults. When everyone has a moment they’re looking forward to, the whole experience runs more smoothly and feels more meaningful.
What is one tech tool you consistently use?
My CRM is a one-stop shop for my entire travel planning process. I can create visually stunning itineraries, offer an app with offline capabilities along with keeping track of all of my clients' preferences and pertinent information. This has been invaluable to maintain a high touch service for my clients.
What are your travel specialties or areas of expertise?
My niche is multigenerational travel-including curated cruise and all-inclusive experiences for the whole family.
What is your most popular travel destination among clients?
I would say the most popular requests that I receive are not one destination, but several, through a river or ocean cruise experience.
